In a significant leadership shift, Jodi Harpstead, Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), has announced her resignation.
Appointed in 2019 by Governor Tim Walz, Harpstead will officially step down from her role on February 3, marking the end of a tenure that saw both notable accomplishments and significant challenges for one of Minnesota’s largest state agencies.
