Special Counsel David Weiss is set to release his final report on Hunter Biden’s investigation as soon as next week, according to Fox News. This investigation, which has been ongoing for several years, centers on the actions of Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden.
Hunter Biden was found guilty of three felony firearm offenses as part of this investigation. He also faced federal tax charges related to his failure to pay over $1.4 million in taxes.
Ahead of his trial, Biden made an unexpected move by pleading guilty. These charges carried potential sentences of up to 17 years in prison. However, President Joe Biden pardoned his son on all charges in December, just before Hunter’s scheduled sentencing.

“There has been an effort to break Hunter,” Biden continued, “who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution. In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me — and there’s no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough.”
The president added, “I hope Americans will understand why a father and a president would come to this decision.”
