California Suspect Bradley Marcrum Arrested for Random Act of Setting a 68-Year-Old Man on Fire
According to FOX 2 San Francisco, the California suspect named Bradley Marcrum, 24, was charged with attempted murder, mayhem, and elder abuse. Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) police detained the California suspect on robbery charges.
According to Berkeley police, the California suspect approached the 68-year-old victim at Bonar Street and University Avenue on June 28th. The victim, whom he did not know, was then allegedly doused with gasoline and set on fire before the California suspect fled.
The victim, who suffered fatal burns, is now in stable condition. Witnessed were able to put out the fire with water and provide help before he was further injured.

Many people have witnessed the attack by the California suspect. According to Berkeley Police spokesman Officer Jessica Perry, the victim was rushed to a neighboring hospital with severe burns and is now listed in stable condition.
According to jail records, BART officers detained the California suspect in Pleasanton after making an arrest for robbery.
