In a published article on his official website Thomas Keller, it was mentioned that he also owned different restaurants across the country that sets a new paradigm and standards in the hospitality industry. Two of his most-visited and known restaurants are The French Laundry, in Napa Valley, and Per Se, in New York.

Other chefs in the world only aim for one star from the prestigious Michelin Guide just to establish their reputation and credibility. However, Chef Thomas Keller did not only aspire for one star but he is the only American chef who holds multiple three-star ratings from Michelin Guide.
Additionally, he is the first male American-born chef to be designated a Chevalier of The French Legion of Honor. Following this, he received different recognition and accolades that include The Culinary Institute of America’s “Chef of the Year” Award and the James Beard Foundation’s “Outstanding Chef” and “Outstanding Restaurateur” Awards.
