Police authorities confirmed during a press conference a carjacking in Washington DC that happened on Sunday. According to the police, they immediately responded and deployed officers after they received a call before 12:15 p.m. on Sunday.
In a published article in FOX News, the suspect of carjacking in Washington DC carjacked three vehicles, killed one of the drivers, shot two dogs in one of the vehicles, and got into a gunfight with a police officer after he refused an arrest.

Carjacking in Washington DC Led Multiple Agencies to Work Together
According to a report published in KMVT11, multiple agencies worked together to capture the suspect. The suspect in carjacking in Washington DC was pursued by an officer with the Capitol Heights Police Department who engaged in a gunfight with the suspect.
Additionally, members of the Metropolitan Police Department also responded to help them apprehend the suspect. Prince George’s County Police Department said Acting Deputy Chief Zachary O’Lare said, “I’ve done this job for a very long time, and it’s extremely rare to come across an individual who has such a disregard for life. I’m thankful to let the community know that this suspect is in custody, but what I don’t want is to overshadow the damage that he has done to our community today.”
Furthermore, police officers did not take and answer any questions during the press conference and did not release the identity of the suspect in the carjacking in Washington DC.
